Hello Parents of 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders,

We are kicking off our Kids Heart Challenge on Monday Feb 10th and we need your help! You can get a jump start today!

Please join us in the fight against heart disease.  Help your children go online at or download the Kids Heart Challenge mobile app to make a pledge to be more heart healthy and earn a free powerband. Our goal is to have 100% of our students take their heart healthy challenge online to move more, be kind, or be prepared! When your child takes their challenge, they will become a Heart Hero!

This year, the mobile app unlocks even more fun and the Heart Hero characters and powerband come to life. As soon as your child raises $10 online, they will also receive Perrie and Knox, two of our Heart Heroes! Don’t forget to watch the video of Alexa see link below.

  1. JOIN OUR TEAM by going to (on your phone or computer) and search for our school then click “Sign Up.”
  2. DOWNLOAD THE APP for iPhone or Android by searching for Kids Heart Challenge. You can unlock your Heart Heroes, bring them to life and do some fundraising from your mobile device.
  3. JUMP START YOUR DONATIONS by being the first to give. For just a $10 online donation, you will earn both Perrie and Knox! That $10 gift could teach more than 200 adults how to save a life by recognizing the signs of heart attack or stroke and how to administer CPR or use an AED.

See how your fundraising and donations are making a difference for families like Alexa’s. Thank you for being part of the Kids Heart Challenge, supporting our school, and the American Heart Association. Together, we can all help save lives.

Thank you for your life-saving help!

Mrs. Laura Morrow
