Picture day is coming soon! McKinley students will all get their photo taken on September 2nd. If you would like to order photos and have not already done so online or sent the packet back with your child, you can order here: www.Scherling.PreOrderPhotos.com Use access code N39KG6. Online ordering will be open until 9/3/26 at 11:59pm. All portraits will be shipped to school and sent home with your child. In addition to printed photos, you can order things like Iridescent clear frames, cell phone stands, metal ornaments and more! See the attached flyer with all of this information and QR codes to scan for easier access. If you prefer to see the photo before you order, you will get a unique access code to view and order the portrait a few weeks after picture day! We’re excited to welcome our JK and Kindergarten students to McKinley tomorrow!
For the first day of school:
Drop-off will be at the front doors of McKinley.
Students will go to the lunchroom and find their teacher’s table.
Staff will be ready to greet students and help everyone get where they need to go.
We know first-day goodbyes can be a big moment! To keep arrival safe and organized, we ask families to say goodbye at the front entrance and let our staff take it from there.

Meal Account Update: We are currently transitioning student meal accounts from MealTime to Infinite Campus. If you received an email today showing your student's meal balance as $0.00, please don't be alarmed. This is a temporary result of the transfer process, and your funds are being moved to the new system. To manage receiving these messages, please log into MealTime and update preferences, otherwise please disregard. Additional information on accessing your student's meal account through Infinite Campus will be shared soon. Thank you for your patience!
Reminder: We will dismiss at 12:20 tomorrow! Since PM preschool students missed school on the last early out, they will attend from 8:30-11:30 tomorrow and there will be NO preschool for AM students.
Reminder: McKinley Early Childhood Center will not have school next week for Preschool & Kindergarten Screening and Spring Break. Enjoy this time with your family!
Kindergarten students will attend Monday March 16th from 8:30-11:00 and will attend a preview day of school with different activities to get to know what school at McKinley looks like. Parents can stay and fill out paperwork or leave and come back when paperwork is done.
Preschool students will attend either Monday, March 16th or Tuesday, March 17th and will do a short screener then be returned to their guardians for a review with an Administrator after the screening. If you don't remember your time, please call the office at 882-6350.
