Class of 1974 - 50 year Class Reunion
August 23-24, 2024

Friday August 23 -Evening welcome reception with location TBD Saturday August 24 - Evening events/class banquet at Joy Ranch . More details will be mailed out. The class of '74 is thinking about having a float in the WHS homecoming parade followed by a class gathering. The homecoming date is not yet set, this will be a separate event from the class reunion.

REUNION PLANNING GUIDE  

Dear Reunion Planning Committee Members,
The Arrow Education Foundation(AEF) is also the WHS Alumni Association. We maintain and update an alumni database, and the Foundation website. Twice a year we publish and distribute the WHS Alumni and Friends Newsletter.

Here are some ways that we(AEF) can assist your committee in reunion planning:

  • Provide a class list of names.  

  • AEF will label, stamp and mail postcards/envelopes.  AEF will provide labels and envelopes if needed.  Class to pay postage for mailing and to supply AEF with postcards or letters.*

  • AEF will post reunion information on the AEF website: www.arroweducationfoundation.org

    and Facebook page.

  • Send a class email to those we have email addresses on file.

  • Place reunion information in the May & November newsletters (info needed by April/Oct).

     * Please give us two weeks to provide database lists, notices and labels. 

Additionally, the Foundation can:

  • Provide information about the work of the Foundation at your reunion or gathering

  • 2nd Street Station - is located in Downtown Watertown and hosts events of all types. The team at

    2nd Street has over 30 years of experience. They have also recently undergone renovations.

  • Dakota Sioux Casino -

    It is located just a little outside of Watertown and has banquet space

  • Elks Lodge - It is located just minutes from Downtown on Kemp Ave. They have a great outdoor seating area with beautiful views of the Big Sioux River

  • Group picture - Reserve a time to have your group picture taken on the steps of the Codington County Heritage Museum.

  • Homecoming parade float - Entering a float in the Arrow Homecoming parade can be arranged through the WHS Principal, Patty McClemans.

  • Joy Ranch - Located just a few miles outside of Watertown. Joy Ranch is a one-of-a-kind destination with

  • Visitors packets - The Watertown Convention and Visitors Bureau will provide goodie bags with Watertown info, local coupons, and information about  events planned during your reunion.
