Watertown Middle School Parents & Staff: We received notification on a positive COVID test for a WMS student. The student has been in school, and contact tracing work was done to determine close contacts. Should your child be considered a close contact, you will receive further information from the district via phone call and a possible call from the Department of Health. From the Watertown School District: We wanted to update you on an additional change to our close contact procedures. We will now allow for a student to return from a close contact situation after 10 days or after 7 days with a negative test past day 5. This is in accordance with the newly updated Department of Health recommendations. Thank you again for your continued patience with the changing landscape related to COVID.
