Here you will find information on scholarships available to WHS students listed by due date

Follow ALL instructions on the application for submitting your completed application and supporting materials that are required.
If a scholarship has a pdf attached, download the pdf to your computer and save it. You will then be able to open that application and fill it out using your computer.
If your scholarship needs to be mailed, it is your responsibility to make sure it is postmarked by the due date. If it is to be emailed, it is your responsibility to make sure it is sent on time, late applications will not be reviewed.
If the scholarship you are applying for requires a copy of your transcript, please log into your Infinite Campus account. You will find a copy of your transcript under the documents tab, where it can be downloaded or printed.
If the scholarship you are applying for requires a certified transcript, you will need to fill out this Google Form. Mrs Full will take care of printing that transcript for you. Please allow a few days for your transcript to be printed.

American Bank & Trust Scholarship | Applicants must be a 2025 graduating high school senior who will attend an accredited South Dakota, North Dakota, or Minnesota college, university, vocational school, or community college on a full time basis. | In a continuing effort to retain our best and brightest students, American Bank & Trust provide a scholarship opportunity to local high school seniors. Seniors must submit an application in order to be considered for the scholarships. | $1,000 | 4/18/25 | |
Sanford Health Network Scholarship | • Affiliation with a participating Sanford Network facility. (employee, relative of an employee, community resident, patient, etc) | Sanford Health is awarding muliple $2,000 scholarships to Healthcare Students. | $2,000 | 4/23/2025 | |
The Restoration of Sight & Health Scholarship | Qualified applicants must be pursuing an education in a field related to the Mission of Dakota Lions Sight & Health (Helping to Enable the Restoration of the Gifts of Sight & Health; this may include health professions, science and research, social services, philanthropy, nonprofit organizations, etc.) and attending a post-secondary educational institution (university, college, technical school, etc.) in the states of South Dakota or North Dakota. Final scoring criteria may also include prior application or award, academic aptitude, financial need, and community involvement. | Dakota Lions Sight & Health is proud to award four scholarships to students in South Dakota and North Dakota. | $1,000 | 4/30/2025 | |
