Congratulations to our very own Dr. Maria Nei for being awarded the Dakota TESOL Administrator of the Year 2023-2024. TESOL stands for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages.
Dr. Nei coordinates our ELL program in the Watertown School District including our Lincoln Elementary ELL program. ELL stands for English Language Learners. She is a part of our Lincoln Staff and educators family.
This award honors the work that Dr. Nei has demonstrated in recent contributions and supports for English Learners in the classroom, school, district, community, or beyond. Our work at Lincoln continues to be strengthened and recognized in our state ACCESS and SmarterBalanced assessment scores. Our students are fortunate for the work Dr. Nei, Melissa Scholberg and Lincoln Staff are completing daily. We are growing our success - one day at a time - together with Dr. Nei's leadership.
