Mrs. Kannas' 2nd-grade class used their creativity while being engineers in science today! They made hats, using only lunch supplies, to solve the problem of shading their head from the sun, as if they were on a deserted island.

Mellette Families! Just a reminder that next Thursday is parent-teacher conferences from 1:00 - 8:00 at Mellette school. The book fair will be running at this time in the library. There will be no school on Friday, November 10th for Veterans Day.
