We had a couple of unexpected visitors at Lincoln Elementary! 😄
Thing 1 and Thing 2 stopped by and caused a little playful mischief around the school as part of our Read Across America Week celebrations. They popped into classrooms, played a few silly tricks on students, and brought plenty of laughter along the way. It was a fun surprise that added even more excitement to the day!

Lincoln Elementary had a great time celebrating Read Across America Week! Students and staff joined in the fun by participating in themed dress-up days throughout the week.
Monday was Manic Monday, when many students wore mismatched clothes. Tuesday was Top It Off Tuesday, and students showed their creativity by wearing hats and other fun items on their heads. Wednesday was Wave a Flag Wednesday, with many students dressed in red, white, and blue. Thursday’s theme was Dress Like a Teacher, and some teachers even joined the fun by dressing like students. Friday was Team Player Friday, when students represented their favorite Dr. Seuss characters, sports teams, or wore school colors.

Mrs. Moeller’s 3rd grade music students have been hard at work learning to play the ukulele! 🎶
Students are practicing how to hold the instrument correctly, strum with steady rhythm, and play simple chords together as a class. It has been exciting to see their focus, teamwork, and growing confidence as young musicians.
We are proud of the effort our 3rd graders are putting into learning a new instrument and building their musical skills each day!
