It is National School Lunch Week! We are so grateful to have these women in our kitchen preparing, serving and cleaning the lunchroom. Fall is here and the weather is changing. We go outside everyday. Please send jackets, hats and gloves. Label everything with your child's name to ensure they do not end up in lost and found. Thank you!
These ladies work hard every day. They shine bright as they help in classrooms, hallways, the lunchroom and the playground. The school day would not run very smoothly without the assistance of these essential women. Akilah says the best part of her job is “I love being around the kids and watching them learn and grow.” Ashley says “My why and my hope are to serve and love others well. This Wednesday was National Custodian’s Day! Shari and her crew are top notch. We know that our building is clean and safe every day when they are here. McKinley Early Childhood Center would not function without them. Shari says the reason she loves her job is “I enjoy helping staff find ways to make their job go smoother. It is evident that Mrs. Pieper thoroughly enjoys teaching. She is always prepared and she brings lots of fun into the classroom. Whether it be a story on the rug or a marketplace stand, there are many enjoyable teaching moments throughout a day in her classroom. Visitors must check in with the office before going down the hallways. When you arrive, ring the doorbell, then sign in and get a badge if you need to go into the building. If you are coming to pick up a student or drop something off, we will ask you wait in the entryway. Thank you!

We were full of homecoming spirit today! The football cheerleaders greeted our students this morning. Many students wore crazy socks to celebrate the kick off of our dress up days. Let's go Arrows!
