WMS--School attendance is crucial to academic and social success at school. If your child must be gone, please be sure to bring a note every time your child sees a medical/dental/ortho/mental health provider so we can document the appointment in our attendance system. Absences without a note will be marked as parent request with a comment for the reason (ill, dentist/ortho, counseling, etc.). Please be sure to call in by 9:00 each day; if we do not hear from you or we are unable to make contact, we will ask our SRO (who serves as our attendance/truancy officer) to do a home visit to check on the student.
