Today Roosevelt staff and students had the privilege of attending a cultural presentation from Darell DeCoteau and the Enemy Swim Day School Dakota Culture Club. We learned about the different styles of dance and their history. We finished up with a Round Dance! Pidamaya for visiting our school!!
On Monday, Roosevelt students had the incredible opportunity to learn about career opportunities in our community. What a great day! Thank you Wurth Elektronik, TEREX, Stein Sign Display, and NTHS Health Science Class! Special thanks to our Kids Hope Mentors who were able to join in! We learned so much and had a blast!
Reminder: Next week there is NO SCHOOL Wednesday-Friday for Thanksgiving break.

Roosevelt Families: Picture Retakes will be next Wednesday, October 18th starting at 10:30.
The winning classes of our Monthly Attendance Challenge! These classes had the best overall percentage of attendance during the month of September! Mrs. Wientjes' 2nd grade class had the best overall attendance percentage for ALL of Roosevelt! They got to celebrate with a class pizza party and hang on to these amazing attendance trophies!
Roosevelt Families: Just a reminder to please send warm clothes with students daily. The temperatures are dropping which makes for chilly recesses. We go outside every day unless the air temperature has a windchill of -10 degrees. Thank you!
