Roosevelt Families: Picture Retakes will be next Wednesday, October 18th starting at 10:30.

The winning classes of our Monthly Attendance Challenge! These classes had the best overall percentage of attendance during the month of September! Mrs. Wientjes' 2nd grade class had the best overall attendance percentage for ALL of Roosevelt! They got to celebrate with a class pizza party and hang on to these amazing attendance trophies!



Roosevelt Families: Just a reminder to please send warm clothes with students daily. The temperatures are dropping which makes for chilly recesses. We go outside every day unless the air temperature has a windchill of -10 degrees. Thank you!

Great information presented by the WPD on internet safety followed up by a BINGO game highlighting the replacement behaviors of online activities. Thank you to Arrow Education Foundation for awarding the grant to fund this event! Thank you so much Mrs. Popham and Mrs. Berg for planning and delivering such a great evening!

Don't forget to vote. A reminder that the Joint City/School election will be held at the Watertown Civic Arena on Tuesday, June 20 from 7 AM - 7 PM.

Roosevelt parents, if your child is registered for summer school, this is your reminder that it starts tomorrow, Tues., June 6. The first session is at 8:30 and the second at 10:30. Attached is a calendar and drop-off/pick-up instructions. If you have questions please call Roosevelt. See you tomorrow!



The Watertown School District will be conducting an emergency planning drill on Tuesday, May 30th in the morning from 8 AM – 12 PM. The district offices will be closed for the morning to the public. The public is asked to avoid the area of the high school as much as possible during these hours, as an influx of emergency responders will be present. We appreciate the cooperation of law enforcement and other first responders to assist the school district in it’s safety planning.

The Watertown Chamber will be hosting a candidate forum on Tuesday, May 30 at 6:00 PM in the DD Miller Auditorium at Watertown High School. Candidates for school board and city council will be present for this forum.
