The winning classes of our Monthly Attendance Challenge! These classes had the best overall percentage of attendance during the month of September! Mrs. Wientjes' 2nd grade class had the best overall attendance percentage for ALL of Roosevelt! They got to celebrate with a class pizza party and hang on to these amazing attendance trophies!
Roosevelt Families: Just a reminder to please send warm clothes with students daily. The temperatures are dropping which makes for chilly recesses. We go outside every day unless the air temperature has a windchill of -10 degrees. Thank you!

Roosevelt parents, if your child is registered for summer school, this is your reminder that it starts tomorrow, Tues., June 6. The first session is at 8:30 and the second at 10:30. The Watertown School District will be conducting an emergency planning drill on Tuesday, May 30th in the morning from 8 AM – 12 PM. The district offices will be closed for the morning to the public. The public is asked to avoid the area of the high school as much as possible during these hours, as an influx of emergency responders will be present. We appreciate the cooperation of law enforcement and other first responders to assist the school district in it’s safety planning.
The Watertown Chamber will be hosting a candidate forum on Tuesday, May 30 at 6:00 PM in the DD Miller Auditorium at Watertown High School. Candidates for school board and city council will be present for this forum.
