New this year: All families, even those recently registered, need to complete the online registration verification through the Campus Portal. This is also where you can fill out the free and reduced meal application. After you log into the Parent Portal, click on "more" on the bottom left, then click "Online Registration." Next, click on the red words next to your child's name. When you are finished with the verification process, the word next to your student's name will be green and say "complete." The meal application is also under "more" then "Meal Benefits." If you have any questions, please call or stop by the office.

๐Ÿ“ธ Last Day of School at Lincoln! ๐ŸŽ‰ Today was filled with tradition, sunshine, and heartfelt goodbyes. We kicked things off with our annual tug of warโ€”each 1st grade class faced off, and so did our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade teams. It was all smiles, laughter, and a little friendly competition! After the excitement, we gathered outside for a picnic under the sun, soaking in the beautiful weather and celebrating a year of learning and growth. The day ended with one of our most cherished traditions: the 4th grade farewell parade. Our halls were lined with cheering students and staff, clapping and waving as we said goodbye to our oldest students. There were lots of tears, plenty of smiles, and even more hugs as we sent them off to their next adventure. ๐Ÿ’™ To all our Lincoln familiesโ€”thank you for your unwavering support this year. We are so grateful for our amazing community. โ˜€๏ธ Have a wonderful summer! We can't wait to see you all again in the fall! #LincolnStrong #LastDayOfSchool #ThankYouFamilies

๐ŸŒ๐Ÿฆ Banana Split Celebration! ๐ŸŽ‰ Mrs. Hansonโ€™s third grade class had a sweet reward to celebrate all of their hard work learning multiplication facts up to 12 โ€” a Banana Split Party! Each student was served a delicious banana split with three scoops of ice cream, a banana, chocolate, caramel, and strawberry syrup, all topped off with a generous swirl of whipped cream. ๐ŸŽ“โœจ Today was a special day at Lincoln Elementary! โœจ๐ŸŽ“ We had the absolute joy of welcoming back the 2025 graduating seniors who once walked these very halls as little learners. They paraded through the school, high-fiving and greeting our students, and sharing warm hugs with staff who were lucky enough to be part of their early journey. It was a heartwarming reminder of how quickly time flies and how proud we are of each and every one of them. Once a Lincoln Arrow, always a Lincoln Arrow! ๐Ÿน๐Ÿ’ซ Congratulations, Class of 2025! Weโ€™re cheering you on as you head toward your next big adventure! ๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ“ #LincolnPride #Classof2025 #OnceAnArrowAlwaysAnArrow

๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ 3rd Grade Amazing Race Adventure! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“ Our 3rd graders took on the Amazing Race, organized by the Codington County Heritage Museum, and what an adventure it was! Armed with maps and curiosity, students journeyed through downtown Watertown, racing to different historic locations and completing fun challenges at each stop. One unforgettable moment? Singing opera-style ๐ŸŽถ on the steps of the Goss Opera House to the tune of Row, Row, Row Your Boat! ๐Ÿ˜„ Each location held a special piece of Watertownโ€™s history, making this hands-on learning experience both educational and memorable. ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿ’ต**LEMONADE, LEARNING, AND LOTS OF LAUGHS!**๐Ÿ’ต๐Ÿ‹ Mrs. Vegaโ€™s and Miss Schieberโ€™s first graders turned into mini entrepreneurs this week! In Social Studies, they have been learning all about goods and services and what it means to be a producer and consumer. Soโ€ฆ what better way to tie it all together than with a real world project: a LEMONADE STAND! The students got into groups, picked what they wanted to sell, set their prices, made some awesome posters, and opened up shop! From sweet lemonade to handmade goods, these first graders nailed it. Future business owners in the making! ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿ‹Not only did they have a blast, but they also practiced valuable life skills like teamwork, budgeting, marketing, and customer service. Way to go, first graders! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ฐ๐Ÿ‹

๐Ÿšจ High Five Friday was a success! ๐Ÿšจ We had multiple reports of smiling faces and high-fiving happening all over Lincoln School this morning. The Watertown Police Department was on the scene, spreading positivity and building awesome relationships with our students. ๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ The primary suspects? A bunch of kids caught in the act of being kind, respectful, and AWESOME! ๐Ÿ‘€ Staff and students alike were happy to witness the joy and excitement the officers brought to our halls. Thanks, WPD, for helping kick off our Friday with a boost of encouragement and a whole lot of high fives!
