๐ถ Music in Action at Lincoln Elementary ๐ถ
Mrs. Moellerโs music classes were full of movement, rhythm, and learning this week. Our 2nd grade students participated in a fun song and partner activity using the classic tune โPease Porridge Hot.โ Through singing and working with partners, students practiced rhythm, coordination, and cooperation.
Our 1st grade students enjoyed a creative scarf movement activity set to โDance of the Sugar Plum Fairyโ from The Nutcracker. This activity helped students explore musical expression, tempo, and graceful movement.
These engaging lessons are a wonderful example of how music brings learning to life at Lincoln Elementary! ๐ต

Our 1st graders in Mrs. Vegaโs class had an absolute blast learning about life long ago and how people once made butter! They worked so hard to shake, shake, shake their own butter in a jar, and their smiles said it all. The best part? Getting to enjoy their homemade butter with crackers! What a fun way to bring history to life and make learning memorable!

Right before Thanksgiving break, our Lincoln teachers brought the sunshine by dressing up for a Summer Day! From bright colors to beach vibes, they had a blast spreading warmth and smiles throughout the school. We hope this fun activity added a little extra joy to everyoneโs week.
