First graders at Lincoln had a blast creating gingerbread houses this week! With the help of parents, grandparents, and third-grade helpers, this festive activity brought holiday cheer to the classroom. What a sweet way to celebrate the season! 🎄

🎄✨ Christmas cheer is in the air! Mrs. Struckman’s 2nd-grade students got creative by making, cutting out, and decorating their own Christmas cookies. Each cookie is a festive masterpiece! Great job, 2nd grade! 🎅❤️

🎬🚗 Drive-In Fun in Mrs. Hanson's 3rd Grade Class! 🚗🎬
Mrs. Hanson's 3rd graders transformed cardboard boxes into creative cars for their very own drive-in movie theater! After designing and decorating their vehicles, the students "drove" in to enjoy a festive viewing of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Their excitement and creativity were off the charts! What a fun way to kick off the holiday season!

Our very own 4th-grade teacher, Mr. Schmidt, and Superintendent Jeff Danielsen brought the holiday spirit to Lincoln Elementary with their fun and festive Christmas outfits! 🎅 Their joyful energy and creative attire have everyone feeling the holiday magic. This week, we are shining the spotlight on TWO of our amazing second-grade teachers at Lincoln Elementary! ✏️🍎

🎄🐾 Spreading Holiday Cheer with Kindness! 🐾🎄
This year, Lincoln Elementary's 3rd-grade classes chose to make the season extra special by forgoing a traditional gift exchange and instead collecting donations for the Humane Society. From pet food and toys to blankets and treats, our students are helping bring comfort and joy to animals in need. 🐶🐱 This act of kindness reflects the true spirit of the season—giving and caring for others. Thank you to our thoughtful students, families, and teachers for making this happen! Together, we’re making a difference. 🌟

This week, we celebrated 135 Lincoln Leaders who demonstrated exceptional leadership, kindness, and hard work. Pictured are the class winners who represent the amazing spirit of our school. Congratulations to all of our leaders—you make Lincoln Elementary proud!

Mrs. Olson's 4th-grade class is diving into history with engaging discussion groups about the Roman Empire! It's amazing to see our young historians bring ancient history to life through teamwork and curiosity! Great job, 4th graders! 👏

We’re excited to spotlight two amazing educators who help make our first grade classrooms at Lincoln Elementary truly special

Special Visitors in the 1st Grade Classroom! 🖐💧
First graders had an extra special lesson thanks to the Lake Area Medical Assistant Students! They taught the importance of proper handwashing and showed the kids just how important it is to wash those germs away. 🧼🦠Students got to test their handwashing skills in a fun and interactive way—they spread "fake germs" on their hands and then checked under a black light to see how well they cleaned up. Spoiler alert: some kids discovered they needed a little extra scrubbing! A huge thank you to the Lake Area Medical Assistant Students for this engaging and educational experience. Our students loved learning from you and are now ready to tackle germs like pros!

📣 Lincoln Leaders Shine Bright! 🌟
This week, we’re celebrating our amazing Lincoln Leaders! A total of 307 Lincoln Leader awards were handed out to our hardworking, kind, and respectful students. Pictured here are this week's winners from each class, proudly representing their peers and showing what it means to be a Lincoln Leader. Thank you, students, for your continued dedication to making Lincoln Elementary a wonderful place to learn and grow. Keep up the fantastic work! 👏

A big shoutout to the dads who joined us Friday morning to help spread some extra cheer! 👏 Whether it’s a high five, a fist bump, or a warm smile, our Lincoln School students loved starting their day with your support and positivity. Thank you for making a difference and kicking off our Friday with such great energy! 🖐✨

Our creative third graders have been hard at work bringing a magical Christmas Village to life! 🏘️❄️ Using their imaginations and some artistic flair, they built charming holiday homes, festive storefronts, and cozy scenes that capture the spirit of the season.
🎅🏼 Great job, third graders! Your village is a holiday treasure!

This week, we are highlighting our incredible ELL staff, who support our students and families new to the country, helping them adjust and thrive during their first few years in school.
