📚 Mrs. Hanson’s Class Works Hard on Summarizing!
In Mrs. Hanson’s 3rd-grade class, students have been busy mastering the art of summarizing. They used the “Somebody – Wanted – But – So – Then” strategy to identify the most important parts of a story.
To celebrate their hard work, each student made a King or Queen of Summarizing crown and used their new skills to summarize a fairy tale they read together. 👑
Here’s how their week could be summarized:
Somebody: Mrs. Hanson’s class
Wanted: To become expert summarizers
But: It took practice and teamwork
So: They worked together to understand each step
Then: They became summarizing royalty! 🌟
We are so proud of their effort and growth as readers!
