Hey, Lincoln School Dads! We’re inviting you to join us on Friday, December 6 from 7:45-8:30 a.m. for a special morning of smiles, greetings, and high fives as our students arrive at school! Let’s kick off their Friday with some encouragement and positive energy. Come ready to make their day a little brighter – we can't wait to see you there!

We couldn't resist showing off our amazing second-grade team in their matching shirts. They bring smiles and enthusiasm to their classrooms every single day.

Mrs. Schlimgen's 2nd-grade class brought a story to life this past week by making Stone Soup after reading the book! 🥕🍲 What a delicious way to connect literature and learning! 📚✨

This past week, all of our first graders got a taste of history—literally! 🧈 They've been learning about life long ago by exploring pictures and artifacts, comparing the past to the present, and focusing on how processes like butter-making have changed over time. To bring it all to life, they even made their own butter! What a fun and tasty way to learn!

On Friday, our students proudly honored the brave men and women who have served our country with a heartfelt Veterans Day program. The entire school joined together in song, singing about the Pledge of Allegiance, while our fourth graders shared the true meaning behind the words of the pledge. Thank you to all the Veterans who joined us and to all who have served. We are forever grateful!

Today, Lincoln School celebrated High Five Friday in a very special way as we welcomed some incredible veterans to our halls! Our students had the privilege of giving high-fives, smiles, and warm “thank-yous” to these heroes who have served our country. It was a memorable way to honor their service and teach our students the importance of gratitude and respect. Thank you to all veterans for your dedication and sacrifice. We are proud to celebrate you today and every day! ❤️ 🤍💙

We’re incredibly grateful for your service and commitment, and we remember the sacrifices made by you and your families.
Thank you, Veterans, for all you’ve done and continue to do for our nation. 🇺🇸

Once again, our Lincoln Library is thrilled to foster a love of reading by hosting a book fair during parent-teacher conferences. Your purchases not only help add more books to our library shelves, but also benefit our entire school! Feel free to stop by before or after your conference to shop in person, or order online if that’s more convenient (please note that online orders will include shipping costs). You can also donate a book to your child’s classroom library—a lasting gift that will inspire young readers for years to come. Thank you for supporting our school and helping us grow a community of readers!
