From the Watertown School District: Happy Mother's Day to all our Moms!! The final materials exchange will take place at all buildings on Monday, May 11 from 8-5. We will be getting details out to families about end-of-year turn in to be held on May 20-21. Graduation ceremonies will be broadcast on Sunday, May 24 at 2:00 PM on the local Government channel, KXLG, KWAT, and Public Opinion websites. We are also aiming for an in-person graduation celebration on Sunday, July 26. Thanks again for all your help during this time. We appreciate it. Have a great weekend.

Students finish the last full week of school work by working diligently to complete all assignments. The next two Mondays are the days to return all school items May 11th or May 18th (at the latest)! All laptops must be returned May 20 & May 21 Good luck, finish strong! Dr B

From the Watertown School District: Thank you parents for filling out the survey on our Flex Learning. We appreciate the feedback. Please note that we are closing off our playground equipment according to CDC guidelines. We intend to continue the Flex Learning until Thursday, May 21. We will have another materials exchange day on Monday, May 4 from 8-5 at all buildings. Graduation details were emailed to seniors this afternoon. We still intend to recognize the Class of 2020 on Sunday, May 24 and hope for an in person ceremony in July. Have a great weekend.

Make sure to pick up your PE clothes on Monday Apr 27 or May 4 between 8:00 and 5:00. Last Mon for PE locker stuff pick up is Mon May 4. After that day items will be donated.

From the Watertown School District: Materials Exchange will take place on Mon., April 20 from 8-5 at all buildings. The final day of school for students will be Thurs. May 21. The PACH program will no longer have a separate distribution and will instead be included in the Community Food Distribution held at the Boys & Girls Club on Thursdays at 4:00 PM. Watertown High School - PE Boys and Girls lockers have been cleaned out. All students involved should have received an email from their PE teacher. You should come and claim your items on Monday, April 20th at the Student Entrance - unclaimed items will be donated after May 11th. Other lockers (ex: wrestling, student lockers) will be cleaned at later dates and parents will be notified as to when they can be picked up.

From the Watertown School District: Thank you for your cooperation with our materials handout on Monday. It went very well!! I also wanted to remind you of the free lunches available for K-12 students at all 5 elementary schools and the intermediate school each day. The Governor has asked all schools to close until Friday, May 1. We will remain closed to students until that time and continue to work with students through online means as we have already started. More communication will follow about turning in work and other learning elated items. All activities until May 1 will be postponed until we know more information.

Materials Pick-up at WHS There are just a few students that will need to pick up materials at WHS on Tues Mar 24. The students were notified by their teacher when and where at to pick up their materials. If students have questions, they can contact their teacher or call the WHS Office 882-6316. Thanks! Dr B

e-learning begins! The staff at WHS has been busily preparing so that learning can continue outside the walls of WHS. Students MUST check their K-12 email. Teachers will be available for assistance during school hours. Students are expected to work at minimum 2-3 hours daily. The work counts toward earning credits for graduation. From the Watertown School District: Governor Noem has declared no school throughout the state during the week of March 23-27. We have been working on alternative learning materials for all students. From the Watertown School District: The Governor has announced another week of school closures for March 23-27. This means we will not have students physically attending school; however, we are working on alternative learning plans for the week at home. We are also working on a plan to offer school breakfast and lunch. More details to follow before the end of the day on Friday.

From the Watertown School District: Following the Governor’s recommendation to close schools for students the week of March 16-20, the Watertown School District will be closed. All facilities will be off-limits to students and the public beginning at 6:00 PM tonight until Monday, March 23rd. This will include practices as well as school activities and outside use of our facilities. Conditions will continue to be evaluated during this week in the event there would need to be a need for further closure to students and the public.
