WHS Families! Just a reminder that next Thursday, November 9th is a 12:30pm early dismissal as we host parent-teacher conferences from 1:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Watertown High School. NTHS teachers will host conferences in their main building. Representatives from LATC will be available to share information and answer questions about the Build Dakota Scholarship. There will be no school on Friday, November 10th for Veterans Day.


WHS Sadies Dance will be held this Saturday. Doors open at 6PM if you wish to take pictures and the Grand March beginning at 8PM, students will line-up at 7:40PM. The public is invited to watch the Grand March, cost is $2 per person at the door. The theme this year is Roaring 20's.

WHS Fall Play is coming up.


Our school is taking part in the 2023 Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS) on Monday, October 30th. This survey is sponsored by the South Dakota Department of Health and asks 9th through 12th grade students about health behaviors including nutrition, physical activity, injuries, and tobacco, alcohol, and other drug use.

Homecoming Day buttons are available for $1 in the Principals Office at the high school or they will be available tonight at the Legend, while supplies last. The Legend begins tonight at 7:30PM in the arena. The button gets you in free or the cost is $1 to get watch the legend.

WHS- Students will be taking NWEA MAP assessments this week in English, math and science classes. On Friday, September 1st, students will have a modified schedule and advisors will host a testing session for students at the end of the day to finish any incomplete tests. Students will be dismissed after advisors have verified all tests are completed. Students that ride the bus may wait in the commons area or in their advisory until the 3:30 dismissal time.

Seniors and Freshmen! The Humanity Launch Event is beginning tonight (August 9th) for seniors and then tomorrow for the freshmen. Seniors will meet tonight from 6 - 9PM and then freshmen will report from 1 - 8PM tomorrow (August 10th). All freshmen are expected to participate in this event.
