πŸš’ The Watertown Fire Department visited our 3rd graders to teach an important lesson on fire safety! Students learned how to stay safe in case of a fire and even practiced getting out of a house filled with harmless smoke.
Firefighters emphasized the importance of every child knowing their home address, parent’s full name, parent’s phone number, and the family’s safe meeting spot outside the home.
We are so thankful to the Watertown Fire Department for helping our students learn these lifesaving skills! ❀️πŸ”₯

Our third graders had a fantastic field trip day!
At the Redlin Art Center, students went on a scavenger hunt searching for hidden details in Terry Redlin’s beautiful paintings.
They also toured the historic Mellette House, where they learned about South Dakota’s very first governor, Arthur Mellette, and discovered what life was like long ago.
It was a day filled with art, history, and hands-on learning!
